Oppo PSA: It's impossible to unblolt the exhaust on an 05 Odyssey with 133k miles with a rachet. Do not attempt. Yes, even with WD-40.
Also it uses 14mm sockets. What the heck uses 14mm?!

WD-40 isn't a good penetration fluid. . . soak that shit in PB blaster or some Kroil and you should get some movement out of it. . .

How many other cars are you planning to do this on? More of those videos need to happen.

Heat cycles plus rust.... gotta love exhaust nuts that never come off! 10, 12, and 14mm are the most common used sizes in Japanese cars I've found.

My car uses 10mm on EVERYTHING.

Brake calipers on the first-gen Volvo S80 have 7mm hex-head machine screws. It took me far too long to find a 7mm hex key.

It's not like I need to take the exhaust off, it's just for shits and giggles, so I'm not going to go through all that effort (I don't have a torch anyway)

It's not like you're going to reuse the bolts. Just turn harder, twist the heads off and move on. Works for me.

In all seriousness, if they're more than a few years old, don't reuse the bolts. Just get new hardware. Otherwise they'll just prove their short life span to you a couple months later.

Heat, let cool a little and apply Kroil. Let sit a while and apply more. Let sit. When you go to loosen, give it a big tug to the tighten side, then attempt to loosen. Works.

A can of PB Blaster only costs a couple bucks. It's a LOT less work to hit the bolts with a some PB than to try an fight with them without it.

WD40 is Water Displacement formula 40, there is nothing about Rust in the name.
P B'laster stands for "Penetrating Blaster", ergo it's made for penetrating Rust.
Hope that cleared things up.

That's the great things about Cavalier and other J boides. Exhausts fall off by themselves no torque required!

That's funny, the Cavalier (Godspeed11's girlfriend drives it) was right behind the minivan when we were trying to pop the exhaust off. Yep, it definitely has a rusted out exhaust and sounds awesome haha

My exhaust fell off my cavalier twice. My friend who had another cavalier had his fall off once. It's what they do. I gave up on original clamps, and now use dryer clamps to hold it on. They are cheaper and work better.
